Custom Booking Process FAQ
Thank you so much to everyone who submitted a custom request on 10/1!
I’m truly grateful for all of the thoughtful and creative project ideas I’ve received. All project submissions have been responded too.
I was fortunate to receive more requests than I’m able to accommodate, so please know that if I’m unable to accept your project, it’s never personal. It simply comes down to that there are not enough hours in the day.
My custom books are now closed and I anticipate my custom books will open again in mid to late 2026. Updates on when my books will reopen will be provided on my Instagram Channel or my Mailing List.
In the meantime, I’ll continue to have flash sales every few months, and any last-minute flash-only openings will also be announced on my Instagram Channel!

Custom Books are Closed: My books are currently closed. I estimate my books will reopen again in mid to late 2026.
Waitlist: At this time my waitlist is at full capacity and I am not adding any additional projects at this time. My waitlist time ranges from 6-12mo.

Hourly Rate
My rate is $200 an hour (unless otherwise stated or agreed upon). I estimate my hourly rate will be increasing on 1/1/2026 to $225 an hour.
Pricing
Small-medium custom pieces - I’ll provide a flat-rate price estimate for the entire design.
Large custom pieces - I charge my hourly rate for projects quoted $1200 or greater.
Minimum Pricing
$250. My minimum pricing will be increasing to $300 on January 1st, 2026.
Deposit
Deposits are not refundable or transferable under any circumstance.*
$200 nonrefundable deposit for custom work.
Your deposit will be held for 4 months if you do not schedule an appointment. After 4 months your deposit will be forfeited.
*All deposits are non-refundable, including in the event that Leah is unable to perform the tattoo due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, injury, disability, or death.
Tips
Tips are very much appreciated but not required. Most clients choose to tip but that is a personal choice and is not an expectation. Typical tip amounts range from 10-25%.
I do my best to price all of my work fairly. I am a fast tattooer and each piece is priced based on the time and detail involved, without any expectation of a tip. While I do greatly appreciate tips, they’re never expected.

Please note that I do not send out designs prior to appointments.
This policy helps to protect both my time and the integrity of my designs. I also do not send out drafts because it is really hard for me to explain my creative process to clients and especially new clients.
For larger custom projects, I offer in-person consultations, where we’ll work together to create a rough draft of your idea.
I understand that not seeing the design before your appointment can feel a bit nerve-wracking, but rest assured that we will have ample time during your session to make any adjustments as needed.
